Trendiest neighborhoods🏡
El Carmen: This is one of the coolest parts of Valencia, it looks medieval but the vibe is far from that. It has an underground feeling and is full of eccentric shops and bars. Not only is it one of the most popular hangout spots for the LGBTQ+ community in the city but it’s also a great place for some tapas in the bohemian Plaza Negrita or for dancing the night away at Radio City.
Ruzafa: If you’re looking for something to do, this neighborhood will always have an activity for you! It’s a place that you can visit at any time of day. For lunch you can have a quick meal at a cafe. At night, the city is buzzing. You can have some traditional Spanish food or get yourself some sushi at the Nozomi Sushi Bar. Finish off the night at cozy bars or head to the clubs.
Benimaclet: This multicultural neighborhood has become a hotspot for expat university students. It’s vibrant but still manages to have the energy of a small town. There’s always a hidden gem to be found whether it be a music bar or a unique cafe like El Chico Ostra. It’s also the perfect place to get away from the tourists while still having plenty of public transport connections to the beach and downtown.
