Belém: The birthplace of the Pastél de Belém, this historic neighborhood is more laid-back, making it perfect for a riverside walk, taking in the views and heading to the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. It also holds two of the most important attractions in Lisbon: the Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery.
Alfama: Lisbon’s oldest quarter, known for its medieval streets, is a charming area full of artisanal shops. Walking through this neighborhood is an adventure in itself, you never know what you’ll find! Plus it also has some amazing viewpoints of the city, river and Saint George's Castle.

In Lisbon you can expect sunny days most of the year and short winters. This means you can have a tequila sunrise or a cold beer on the beach even in November or December because the sun will still be shining. In Lisbon you’ll always see people out and about. Why? Because the great weather has to be enjoyed. This makes it ideal to go to the beaches, which happen to be some of the most breathtaking ones in Europe.

It’s hard not to see the pride and passion that Lisbon has for the sport. You’ll probably always see a TV in a bar showing a match.
